When I was a small girl, the main contact I have with my grandparents was by aerogramme. (That’s a special trip-folded paper letter sent from overseas, traditionally light blue in color).

This item comes lined with floral patterned felt to protect whatever surface it comes in contact with. Handwritten on the back of the piece is a quote from Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass: “And as I to me, I know nothing else but miracles.”
